Carleton mooted at the 20th Annual Osgoode Cup March 9th and 10th at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. We are extremely proud of all our team members that competed!
Carleton hosted its annual Capital Cup Mooting Tournament on November 25th and 26th, 2023. Teams from across North America competed for the Cup! We are proud to announce that Carleton made it to the quarter-finals! Congratulation to the University of Chicago for winning the 2023 Capital Cup!
On November 7th, 2023 at 7:00pm we hosted our first ever Moot Gala at 56 ByWard Market! We enjoyed some dancing, music, activities, and quality bonding time with the team! We had raffle tickets for purchase and team members took home fun and exciting prizes! It was such a fun night with the team!

On October 14th, 2023 the Carleton University Moot Team hosted a "Moot Camp" workshop. Both experienced and new team members worked together to write submissions on the Supreme Court of Canada case R. v. Schneider, 2022 SCC 34. We reviewed how to read a case and provided tips for writing submissions. Team members presented their submissions in a friendly competition. Moot Camp was a successful day and the Captains are very proud of all our members. Special congratulations to our top oral advocates of the day, Andie and Brad.
The Carleton University Moot Team is very proud of all its members who competed in The 2023 Osgoode Cup Tournament at Osgoode Hall Law School! An extra special shoutout goes to Nick Binette and Jordan Routhier as well as Dana Keshta and Kal Alhadi who placed in the top 16 out of 113 teams! Congrats to all the Carleton new mooters who experienced their first Osgoode Cup and thank you to the captains for coaching them.
On January 28, 2023 the Carleton University Moot Team hosted its very first "Moot Camp" workshop. Using a recent case decided at the Supreme Court of Canada, new and experienced team members worked together to write and present submissions. Overall, the day was a huge success and the Captains are very proud our all the team members. A special congrats goes out to Nick and Abdoul, who won the best speaker awards during the mini moot competition during the workshop.
