We are a team of motivated students from all areas of study. We have attended various tournaments, including The Capital Cup, The McGill Invitational Tournament, The Osgoode Cup, The Highland Cup, The Lion's Cup, and the Ha-Redeye Cup.
The Carleton University Moot Team welcomes new members throughout the academic year. We host all-inclusive meetings, workshops and in-house tournaments to learn new skills, build confidence, and (most importantly) have fun!

MEET THE CAPTAINS
I'm a fourth-year BA (Hons.) Law student with a concentration in business law. I joined moot because a) Professor Waxman said it was cool and b) I had no friends.
I stayed in moot because it has been incredibly helpful in building my confidence, shortening my verbal word count, and strengthening my presentation skills. Most importantly, it helped me find my place within the Carleton pre-law community.
I'm a fourth-year BA (Hons.) Law student with a concentration in Human Rights and Transnational Law.
To anyone considering participating in an undergraduate moot competition, I highly recommend it—it's an incredibly rewarding experience.
I'm a third-year BA (Hons.) Law student with a minor in philosophy.
Last year, I competed at Carleton's annual Capital Cup, as well as the Osgoode Cup. In moot, you have the opportunity to engage with great cases and work with your partner to write compelling submissions.
I'm a third year BA (Hons.) Law student with a concentration in law, policy, and government, and a minor in political science.
Mooting has helped me build my oral advocacy skills, learn legal terminology and court decorum, and build connections within the legal community.
I’m a fourth year undergraduate student at Carleton University pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Legal Studies.
Mooting provides an excellent opportunity to develop my advocacy skills and explore a potential career in the legal profession.
